Za nami pierwszy półfinał 69. Konkursu Piosenki Eurowizji. Ten wieczór dostarczył nam niezapomnianych występów i wielkich emocji. Justyna Steczkowska nie zawiodła i zapewniła widzom wielki show. Tego dnia odbył się pierwszy półfinał, w którym dziesięć krajów wywalczyło swoje miejsce w wielkim finale. Drugi półfinał zaplanowano na 15 maja, a kulminacja, czyli finał, odbędzie się w sobotę 17 maja. Tegoroczna edycja zapowiada się jako jedna z najbardziej nieprzewidywalnych od lat – nie tylko ze względu na wysoki poziom artystyczny, ale i powroty legend. Wśród nich znalazła się Justyna Steczkowska, która po 30 latach znów stanęła na eurowizyjnej scenie.
Jej udział w konkursie był szeroko komentowany jeszcze przed rozpoczęciem półfinałów. Wokalistka, która reprezentowała Polskę w 1995 r. z utworem “Sama”, wróciła do Eurowizji z nową energią i odważnym artystycznym konceptem. Jej tegoroczny występ był z jednej strony hołdem dla korzeni – słowiańskie brzmienia, etniczne akcenty i symbolika – z drugiej zaś nowoczesnym widowiskiem pełnym futurystycznej estetyki.
Justyna Steczkowska zakwalifikowała się do finału 69. Konkursu Piosenki Eurowizji! Ale przy pierwszej decyzji serce musiało jej stanąć na chwilę. W tym roku wyniki podawano trójkami. Wyczytywano nazwiska trzech artystów i z każdej trójki wybierano jednego, który wchodził do finału. Pozostała dwójka wracała do bębna maszyny losującej następną trójkę wykonawców. Z pierwszej trójki, w której była Polska, wybrano Albanię. Na pewno był to stresujący moment dla naszej artystki.
Decyzją widzów Polska znalazła się w gronie dziesięciu krajów, które awansowały do finału konkursu. To symboliczny moment – trzy dekady po swoim debiucie Justyna ponownie zagra o najwyższy laur Eurowizji, w zupełnie nowym kontekście muzycznym i emocjonalnym.
