Rumors had been swirling for months that “Up” hitmaker Cardi B and New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs are dating.

The two have been spotted on a few occasions here and there including recently when they were seen heading to an afterparty together following the Met Gala. Then, three days later in Harlem as a fan took a video with the NFL star, he happened to catch the “Bongos” rapper in the background.

Some fans who are convinced they are a couple have a few questions about them including who has a higher net worth. Here’s the answer to that and more.

Cardi B filed for divorce from fellow rapper Offset in 2024. At the time of the filing, she was pregnant with their third child. Their daughter arrived one month after their official separation.

Since then, Cardi’s dating life has been a hot topic. In April 2025, she finally took to X Spaces (previously known as Twitter Spaces) to gush about her new man: “It’s been a couple of weeks and I haven’t addressed nothing. Because it’s like … you know when you got a gorgeous [man] loving you from head to toe? It’s like, I don’t really give a f*** what anybody says when you got a real fine [man] that love you from head to toe.”

Cardi first gained recognition with her viral videos online before joining the reality show Love & Hip Hop: New York in 2015.

In 2017, she released the track “Bodak Yellow.” The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making her the first female rapper to do so since 1998. Her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, which dropped in 2018, won a Grammy for Best Rap Album.

Diggs was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL draft. At that time, he signed a four-year, $2.5 million deal that included a guaranteed $227,000 signing bonus. In 2018, he signed a five-year, $72 million contract extension with the team. Two years later, the athlete was traded to the Buffalo Bills and in 2022 signed a four-year, $96 million contract extension. In 2024, he was traded to the Houston Texans and restructured his contract into a one-year, $22.52 million deal. On March 28, 2025, Diggs signed a three-year $63.5 million contract with the Patriots.

Diggs has earned more than $135 million throughout his career so far and today, has an estimated net worth of $60 million, per Celebrity Net Worth.

As for his relationship with Cardi, Diggs isn’t one to comment on his personal life but he had no other choice after an Instagram model shared a couple of photos with him and a steamy caption that left fans pretty confused.

The model took to social media to share the images and captioned them: “I don’t post him, I be with him in real life & we be doing it” with a kiss emoji.

Diggs decided to jump online soon after to set the record straight, insisting that those pictures weren’t taken recently, writing: “That photo is old.”
