'Deliver Me From Nowhere' trailer gives first look at Bruce Springsteen biopic
The first trailer for 'Deliver Me From Nowhere' has arrived, starring Jeremy Allen White as a young Bruce Springsteen

The film, directed by Scott Cooper, chronicles the New Jersey legendâs journey to recording his sixth album, âNebraskaâ, in 1982. On the edge of becoming a worldwide phenomenon, the film will show the artist at a much more vulnerable moment in his life. Succession star Jeremy Strong plays Jon Landau, Springsteenâs manager and record producer; while Adolescence actor Stephen Graham portrays his father, Douglas Springsteen.

The Boss has given his approval for the film, visiting the cast during filming and giving enthusiastic praise for those involved. Speaking to Varietyâs Awards Circuit Podcast, he discussed how the project came about. âThey pitched the idea, and I said, âIt sounds like fun,ââ Springsteen he recalled. âItâs an interesting concept, because itâs only a couple of years out of my lifeâ.
He continued: âItâs â81, â82, and centred around the creation of that particular record while I was simultaneously recording âBorn in the USAâ and also going through some personal difficulties that Iâve been living with my whole life. But itâs fantasticâ.
The feeling was mutual for the cast, with Strong describing it as âone of the greatest working experiences Iâve ever hadâ. Graham also spoke positively about the project, revealing he was left in tears after receiving praise from Bruce Springsteen, describing his messages as: âThe most gorgeous texts Iâve ever had in my lifeâ.
