'Sick And Evil': Democrat Party Shredded For Flipping On Hot-Button Issue

As the war of words between billionaire X owner Elon Musk and President Donald Trump unfolded for the world to see, the former levied a massive attack against his one-time friend, saying that Trump was mentioned in the infamous Epstein files, and that’s why they hadn’t been released.
Shortly after that post, Democrats popped out of the woodwork, demanding that Attorney General Pam Bondi release the cache of files to verify if Trump is truly mentioned in their contents. This is a marked difference from the stance leftist politicians were taking on Epstein prior to the post on social media.
In a post of their own on X, Democrats began taking advantage of the rift between Musk and the president, demanding Congress kill the “big, beautiful bill” and release the Epstein files.
What started this sudden change of heart on the controversial subject came on Thursday when billionaire SpaceX CEO Elon Musk posted, “Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”
He then added, “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”
Democratic Reps. Stephen Lynch and Robert Garcia sent a letter to FBI Director Kash Patel and Attorney General Pam Bondi, saying they wrote to the Justice Department with “profound alarm” over Musk’s allegations against Trump.
“We ask you to immediately clarify whether this allegation is true and respond to this letter with the requested information and documentation,” a portion of the letter said, according to The Latin Times.
The two congressmen go on to say the allegations imply that “the President may be involved in determining which files should be released and whether files will be withheld from the public if he personally chooses to withhold them. The President may be involved in determining which files should be released and whether files will be withheld from the public if he personally chooses to withhold them.”
“President Trump and his family were passengers on Jeffrey Epstein’s personal airplane, according to flight logs released by AG Bondi in February 2025. President Trump, by his own admission, was close friends with Jeffrey Epstein, and Epstein was previously a guest at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate. Any attempts to prevent the appropriate release of the Epstein files to shield the President from truth and accountability merits intense scrutiny by Congress and by the Department of Justice (DOJ),” the document continues.
Four requests were made in the letter:
In that context, the lawmakers made four requests to the officials: “Provide a timeline for the Department’s declassification and public release of all remaining documents;” “Describe why DOJ has failed to release any additional Epstein documents;” “Describe the role of President Donald Trump in reviewing documents;” “Provide a list of all personnel whose approval is required to facilitate the declassification and public release of the documents pertaining to the aforementioned investigation and prosecutions.”
Many critics of the Democratic Party say this is all just a means of attempting to make the president out to be a villain, a mission they have been on since the very beginning of Trump’s political career. They say the left doesn’t truly care about the sickening crimes Epstein committed or the victims he left behind.
Otherwise, Democrats would have been fighting hard for these files to be released ages ago.
