A minute after the episode was supposed to start streaming, Peacock posted a message on social media announcing a slight delay.

Watch on DeadlineUsers in Canada reported that the Love Island USA Season 7 premiere episode was available on the CTV streamer, which may indicate it was a technical issue on Peacock’s side.

Peacock took to X again to share an update with viewers, posting, “Thank you for your patience! The Love Island USA episode is officially live now. Enjoy the premiere.”
Expectations for Love Island USA Season 7 were high following Season 6, which was a ratings success. U.S. viewers were finally invested in the format due to the chemistry and drama from the cast. Peacock understood the draw the cast had that they greenlighted spinoff Love Island: Beyond the Villa, which will follow some of the most popular personalities from the previous season.
The memes started flooding in when Love Island USA didn’t premiere, with many quoting Season 6’s Kaylor and her iconic “Fawk Aaron” moment.
