Ant Anstead Refutes 'Disrespectful' Renee Zellweger Speculation
Ant Anstead's spokesperson confirms he and Renee Zellweger 'remain in a cherished relationship' despite living in different countries
A spokesperson for Ant Anstead has clarified the recent speculation that he and his girlfriend, RenĂŠe Zellweger, are living separately.
âSadly, the recent reports are disrespectful and misleading,â Ansteadâs rep told People in a statement on Thursday, May 29, referring to the claims that the British TV host, 46, had been residing with a woman named Julia French while Zellweger, 56, was out of town.
The rep further noted that Anstead had âstayed just a handful of days in Julia Frenchâs separate, and detached, guest houseâ in California.
âThey have been long-time friends with similarly aged children within a circle of local Laguna Beach friends,â the statement added, noting that Anstead and Zellweger âremain in a cherished relationshipâ despite working across countries. (Zellweger is currently filming Only Murders in the Building in New York City, while Anstead is working in the U.K.)
