DeChambeau reminded fans why that's the case when he caught up with newly-crowned PGA Championship victor Scottie Scheffler outside the scoring area following the final round at Quail Hollow.

The 31-year-old, who finished in a three-way tie for second, put his frustrations aside and gave Scheffler a congratulatory hug and said: "Great job, proud of you."
DeChambeau finished five strokes behind Scheffler at Quail Hollow with a final score of six-under par.
However, the LIV Golf star, like several other top contenders, struggled to find his rhythm in the final round as he shot 70.
Scheffler was not immune to a final round wobble either, as three bogeys on the front nine left him sitting precariously on two-over par for the final round.
The 28-year-old's struggles opened the door for Jon Rahm to mount a comeback as he joined Scheffler atop the leaderboard thanks to a birdie on the 11th.
However, the Spaniard couldn't keep pace as Scheffler found another gear with birdies on the 10th, 14th and 15th to move halfway to winning the career grand slam.
As for DeChambeau, his T2 finish marked his second near-miss in as many majors this year.
The American was only two strokes behind Rory McIlroy ahead of the final round at The Masters last April.

However, DeChambeau capitulated and finished three-over par in his final round as McIlroy went on to win the green jacket, albeit via a nail-biting playoff victory over Justin Rose.
When asked if he felt he was letting the majors get away from him at the final hurdle or if it was building towards something special, DeChambeau insisted it was 'a bit of both.'

"Definitely had an opportunity to beat Rory and definitely had an opportunity to give Scottie a run this week," DeChambeau said.
"Even though I was leading into the third round -- or after 16 holes on the third round, but man, I just didn't get it done.
"I've got to learn how to be a little more precise with the wind, not let the wind affect the ball as much.
"It's a tough task to do because I laid it so high and the ball just kind of moves it in the air. I've got to figure that out.
I've got some tricks up my sleeve that I'm going to be working on and hopefully bring for the U.S. Open, but I've got to get some equipment here soon."
DeChambeau enters this year's U.S. Open as the defending champion thanks to McIlroy's infamous implosion at last year's event.

The Northern Irishman bogeyed three of the last four holes - including missed putts from within four feet on the 16th and the 18th - to extend his 10-year wait for a fifth major.
It allowed DeChambeau to complete a thrilling charge as he sealed victory with a four-foot putt that was set up by a staggering 50-yard up-and-down from the bunker on the 18th.
This year's U.S. Open takes place at Oakmont Country Club in Texas and tees off on June 12.
