Eamonn Holmes has lashed out during a social media clash after being accused of infidelity towards his ex-wife Ruth Langsford.
The 65 year old presenter is already dealing with a difficult time after falling at his home this morning.

He is now recovering in hospital after the fall in his bathroom and is expected to remain there for a few days.

While he is in the hospital, he responded to a message on social media from a person who claimed he had cheated on his ex wife Ruth.
The couple split in May last year after 14 years of marriage.

Eamonn, who has been suffering increasing mobility issues after experiencing back issues for years, today shared a photo from an ambulance as he revealed his fall and said 'Gosh it hurts'.
He later shared a photo from his hospital bed, writing: "Not how I wanted to be spending The Holiday weekend but life's not easy these days."

Support poured in for Holmes as fans sent their well-wishes, but one individual was less empathetic, responding: "Eamonn your falling apart since you done the dirt on @ruthlangsford."
It wasn't long before Eamonn delivered a sharp retort: "Says the man whose profile reads 'Be kind and be Nice'."
Supporters swiftly came to Holmes's defence. One urged: "No need to say anything at all about Ruth!" Another remarked: "You need to change your bio, you obviously don't know the meaning of kindness or nice."
