Eurovision viewers horrified over host's 'fashion fail' as semi-finals continues
Eurovision 2025 host Hazel Brugger has caught viewers attention for all the wrong reasons with her bizarre choice of outfit for the semi-finals.
The Eurovision 2025 second semi-final is already underway as people across the nation gather to celebrate music as one. However viewers have been left distracted, by host Hazel Brugger's outfit choice.
Her glittering dress ensemble certainly had everyone talking as it snatched the spotlight, and perhaps not for the right reasons. As fans tuned in for the penultimate night of performances ahead of Saturday's grand final, they were taken aback by her dress.

The Swiss-American-German comedian and presenter took to the stage in a sparkling dress covered in oversized sequins that soon got viewers talking as they took to social media, the Mirror reports.
â
One viewer compared the dress's reflective sequins to CD relics from the early 2000s, quipping: "Good to see someone making use of all those free AOL CDs you used to get."
Someone else joked, "Temu claimed another victim didn't it?" in a cheeky reference to the budget-friendly Chinese online marketplace.

A third shared a photo of the cover of The Rainbow Fish with the caption "Hazel's outfit tonight", poking fun at how similar the glittery scales on the fictional fish look to the host's sequins.
Despite the backlash from her outfit, Brugger, who is co-hosting this year's semi-finals alongside Swiss presenter Sandra Studer, is unlikely to take viewers jokes to heart too much, given her previous television experience.
Hazel began her career in 2016 as a correspondent on Germanyâs heute-show, which is a political satire programme.

She later launched a successful YouTube series with her husband, fellow comedian Thomas Spitzer, in 2019. In it, the pair explore quirky places with guests from the German comedy scene.
As the second semi-final gets underway in Basel, Switzerland, the competition among the 16 participating nations is heating up. Only 10 of them will secure a coveted spot in Saturdayâs grand final.

Viewers online think they have already worked out who is likely to get the axe. Ireland, Montenegro, Georgia, and Denmark have all been singled out by fans as likely non-qualifiers, as some have criticised their shaky vocal performances.
One fan admitted: "I love Ireland, but I am bracing myself for a NQ [non-qualification]." Meanwhile, another confidently stated: "Pretty sure they're out: Montenegro, Georgia."
Australia âs Go-Jo opened the show with his eccentric number Milkshake Man, while Finlandâs Erika Vikman is set to close the night with an electrifying techno track called ICH KOMME.

Country trio Remember Monday has taken to the stage with their performance of What the Hell Just Happened? The song is a riotous piece about the aftermath of a wild night out.
The band has been praised for their understanding of the importance of staging, which they learned during their days performing in West End musicals as kids.
