Fox News fans' 'hearts stop' as Trump launches 'N-word' rant on air
Fox News fans watched on in disbelief after US president Donald Trump was interviewed by Bret Baier.
Donald Trump left Fox News viewers with their hearts in their mouths as he went on an āN-wordā rant while being interviewed by Bret Baier. The network boasted an exclusive sit-down with the president on Friday evening (May 16) in which he opened up about the conflict between India and Pakistan that erupted last weekend.
He told Bret: āEveryone was stronger, stronger ā to a point where the next one was gonna be you know what. The N-word. You know what the N-word is, right?ā Bret looked humiliated and unsure before Trump explained: āNuclear!ā ā and the host thanked the president for clarifying.

Trump said: āItās the N-word. Thatās a very nasty word, right? In a lot of ways. The N-word used in a nuclear sense.ā He went on: āIt does take two to tango. With India I felt very certain and with Pakistan I also talked about trade, they would love to trade!
āTheyāre brilliant people. They make incredible products, and we donāt do much trading with them, and yet I have a good relationship with them. I have a good relationship with a lot of people that you wouldnāt believe.ā
Trump said: āBut I stopped that war. That was going to be a nuclear war, I think, or close. Very close. You were right there. And now everyoneās happy. In fact, I told my people, āCall āem up, and weāll start trading immediatelyā, because Iām a man of my word.ā
Viewers werenāt impressed, with one tweeting: āOnly Trump can make light of nuclear war with racism.ā Another echoed: āTrumpās chosen euphemism for ānuclearā: āThe N-wordā. Followed by the helpful, totally not confusing clarification, āYou know what the N-word is, right? Itās the N-word. Yes, we know what the N-word is! Why are you making it weird?ā
They added: āThe level of verbal unnecessaryness [sic] is consistent, Iāll give him that.ā
