Fury sends clear message to Carlos Tevez after Soccer Aid

Tyson Fury was left speechless following an impressive performance by ex-Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez at Soccer Aid.

The eagerly awaited charity match took place at a packed Old Trafford in Manchester, with World XI FC clinching a 5-4 victory. England got off to a flying start as Manchester United icon Wayne Rooney netted the quickest goal in Soccer Aid history within the fourth minute.

Just before half-time, Toni Duggan doubled England's lead with a superb finish past Edwin van der Sar.

England looked set to dominate after Jermaine Defoe added a third just after the interval. However, the introduction of Tevez changed the game's dynamics, with the Argentine scoring two quickfire goals for World XI.

Defoe managed to bag his second of the match, but Tevez responded with another brace to level the score at 4-4. As the final minutes approached, Big Zuu shocked spectators by netting a late winner for World XI, reports the Mirror.

Fury, who co-managed the England team alongside Rooney, was heavily involved in the match. The former two-time heavyweight champion and avid United supporter was astounded by Tevez's performance at Old Trafford.

Despite Tevez making his mark in Manchester City blue during his prime, Fury didn't hesitate to commend the Argentine's display this morning.

Tyson Fury took to Instagram on Monday morning to share his thoughts on the charity match he managed, which raised millions. In his Instagram story, he remarked: "Morning run in the bay. After a long and busy day yesterday, managing England. We did not get the result we wanted, but everybody played well and played hard and we raised a lot of money for a great cause.

"So, I am very proud of everybody who took part. And well done to every body... especially Carlos Tevez! Wow. Banging in hat-tricks and stuff. He has still got it. Had a fantastic day. Big shout out to all the organisers at UNICEF and Soccer Aid, but here we are today, back in the bay, back in good old Lancashire... keeping it real!".

Despite the positive vibes from Fury, not everyone was singing Carlos Tevez's praises. YouTuber and Manchester United fan Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, criticised the City legend after sustaining an injury during Sunday evening's game.

In a tussle for the ball with Tevez at the edge of the England box, both players ended up on the ground. Replays suggested that Tevez, the former Argentina star, seemed displeased with Angry Ginge's tackle and appeared to kick out at the defender before the two eventually exchanged handshakes.

After the final whistle, Ginge wasn't thrilled with Tevez's tough tackle. He posted a photo of his leg with a serious gash in the changing room, captioning it: "Cheers Tevez, t***."

Despite his injury and his side's defeat, Burtwistle earned accolades for his performance and was ultimately awarded player-of-the-match by comedian and Manchester City fan Jason Manford during his commentary stint.

Tyson Fury caught attention during the game when his choice words led to several on-air apologies from ITV hosts on Sunday. The ex-heavyweight boxing champ, while serving as co-manager of the England side, let slip some choice language.

"We are England! We are f****** Spartans!" proclaimed Fury. Alex Scott and fellow presenter Dermot O’Leary quickly offered apologies for any offense the profanity may have caused.

The former Lionesses defender remarked: "We do apologise for the swearing. It's Tyson, we don't know what's going to happen."

Further into the first half, Fury swore once more, prompting yet another apology from ITV, as Scott indicated they'd "have a word with him afterwards".
