Unfortunately for Mourinho, Galatsaray's triumph means his wait for a league title has now stretched to a decade.
The Portuguese manager's last league title came in the 2014/15 campaign when he steered Chelsea to the Premier League crown in his second stint at the club.
In the decade preceding that final victory at Stamford Bridge, Mourinho won five league title across spells at Inter Milan, Real Madrid and also during his first stint with Chelsea.
Long regarded as a serial winner, Mourinho's last trophy was the Europa Conference League which he won with Roma in the 2021/22 season.
