Heidi Montag Debuts New Look on 2025 American Music Awards Red Carpet
Heidi Montag unveiled a new hairstyle while appearing alongside husband Spencer Pratt at the 2025 American Music Awards.

Heidi Montag knows what she likes.
And that’s the chance to switch up her look. The Hills alum debuted a new hairstyle as she arrived at the 2025 American Music Awards May 26. After years of sporting her signature long blonde tresses, Heidi, 38, stunned in a blonde bob as she walked the carpet with her husband Spencer Pratt.
The “I’ll Do It” singer channeled Old Hollywood with her blunt bob, serving as the perfect complement to her attire, which included a bedazzled blue corset and matching pants designed by THE BLONDS, paired with a smokey eye and silver jewelry.
As for Heidi’s decision to pop out with new hair? She simply wanted to revamp her style for at least a little while, as she hinted that her long tresses aren’t far from making a comeback.
“We just thought we’d switch it up a little bit and keep it fresh,” Heidi—who shares kids Gunner, 7, and Ryker, 2, with Spencer—told Entertainment Tonight May 26. “I’ve never done this so it’s very exciting, and just a moment.”

Heidi’s husband of 17 years gave the look his seal of approval as he acted as her personal photographer on the event’s red carpet. Spencer, 41, posed for pictures with his wife—and showed off a little PDA with her—before he stepped to the side and pulled out his own camera to snap a few shots.

Following her evening out, Heidi gushed about her new look and date night with her man. “Had so much fun at the @AMAs tonight,” she wrote on X May 26. "Feeling glamourous in this look by @theblondsny.”
Heidi and Spencer’s night out comes four months after they lost their home in the Pacific Palisades Wildfires. In the moments since, Spencer has proved to be his wife’s number one fan as he’s watched a new generation of fans fall in love with her music.
“I’m so happy for her, but I didn’t do this,” Spencer told E! News in April of Heidi’s latest social media success. “I’ve been hyping Heidi, and now it’s her time to shine.”
