Insiders share what happened on Meghan and Harry's Brooklyn and Nicola summit
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly met Brooklyn Beckham and his wife following rumoured reports of a feud within the Beckham family.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's "summit" with Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz was not as intimate as it was first made out to be, an insider has revealed. On Thursday, it was claimed in The Sun that Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, had invited Brooklyn, 26, and his wife to their Montecito home for a dinner with some fellow guests. While it was claimed they bonded over "common ground", including the fact Brooklyn - like Harry - is reportedly experiencing a rift with the rest of the Beckham family, this is now believed to not be the case.
As reported by Katie Hind in The Daily Mail, the dinner was reportedly not even held by Meghan and Harry, and instead was a much larger gathering hosted by Brian Robbins, 61, the CEO of television giant Paramount and Nickelodeon, and his wife Tracy, 49, who are neighbours of the duke and duchess in Montecito. The insider said that there were more than 20 people at the party, with Brian reportedly having been the one to invite Brooklyn and Nicola.

This is because Brian knew of Brooklyn as the son of David Beckham, who is starring in football chat show Beckham & Friends Live on Paramount+. A source told The Daily Mail that Brooklyn was invited to the dinner by Brian because he is Davidâs son, with the CEO reportedly having no idea of the rift between them.
An insider told The Daily Mail: "Davidâs production company sold the show to Paramount and it is something that Brian would have been very hands-on with. Brooklyn lives in Los Angeles, just down the highway, so perhaps Brian thought it would be a nice thing to invite him and Nicola."
While Harry and Meghan would have met Brooklyn and Nicola at the dinner, an insider said conversation between the two couples was actually "limited".

David and Victoria Beckham 'blindsided' by son Brooklyn's ties to Prince HarryDavid and Victoria Beckham were "blindsided" when finding out their eldest son, Brooklyn and his wife Nicola, attended an intimate dinner party at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's multi-million pound mansion in Montecito, California, it has been claimed. A source further added that they "didn't see it coming".
Speaking to the Sun, a source further claimed: "David and Victoria were blindsided by the news â they didnât see it coming. Of course itâs a bit weird for them as they used to socialise with Meghan and Harry, and now their boy is doing it."

The Royal Family's 'rock' who King and Queen rely onThe Royal Family have been through thick and thin, and they can always rely on each other's support. Last year was a challenging one for the Royal Family, as it saw two of its biggest players, King Charles and Kate, the Princess of Wales, out of action for a considerable amount of time due to their cancer diagnoses.
And while it's long been reported that the King can rely on the monarchy's key members, like Princess Anne and Duchess Sophie to step up whenever needed, there is another royal, who is not a working member of the Firm, who Charles and Queen Camilla rely just as much on. The royal in question is no other than Zara Tindall, who celebrated her 44th birthday yesterday.

King Charles 'very sad' over one family matter regarding Prince Archie and LilibetKing Charles is reportedly âvery sadâ at the lack of contact he has had with two of his grandchildren Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, three. The monarch, 76, has only met his youngest son Prince Harryâs children very few times, with Harry and his wife Meghan Markle choosing to relocate to America five years ago after stepping down from royal life.
Since then, the coupleâs children have only returned to the UK once in 2022, with Harry claiming he does not feel like his home country is a safe place for his children to visit. After losing his court appeal over his UK taxpayer-funded security rights earlier this month, the prince told the BBC: âI can't see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point."

Zara Tindall brings 'cheeky naughtiness' out of King CharlesZara Tindall has an extremely strong bond with her family despite her not being a working royal, with her close relationship and bond with King Charles being described by a former royal staffer.
Former royal gardener, Jack Stooks, believes her close relationship with her uncle, King Charles, allows her to bring out his fantastic sense of humour, something that members of the public donât normally get to see.
Speaking on behalf of Fruity King, Jack said: "Zara always seems quite lighthearted. The King has a good sense of humour and is fun as well, but people donât necessarily see that much.

Sarah Ferguson convinced late Queen 'talking to her'Sarah Ferguson has revealed that she is convinced the late Queen Elizabeth, who died in 2022, is still talking to her in an unusual way. At the time of the late Queenâs death, Her Majesty had two corgis Muick and Sandy, who now live with Queen Elizabethâs son Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.
The pair are believed to take great care of the corgis at Royal Lodge in Windsor, with Sarah believing that when the dogs bark, it is actually Queen Elizabeth communicating with her. The Duchess of York, 65, admitted this when speaking at a Creative Women Forum networking event in London.

Prince William opens up about âthe very worst painâPrince William has described grief as âthe very worst painâ as he hails the life-changing work of Child Bereavement UK as they announce a merger with another leading charity. King Charles makes rare health admissionKing Charles made a rare health admission this week at a Buckingham Palace garden party as he spoke about what can help during cancer treatment.
The monarch, 76, was diagnosed with cancer last year and has been undergoing treatment ever since. While the King has not shared too much information about his diagnosis, he did speak to a fellow cancer patient about treatment.
At the garden party, attended by 7,000 guests, the King spoke to Stamford Collis, 22, an international relations student at Exeter University who is battling cancer. Collis revealed afterwards that the pair had spoken about cancer treatment and diet.
