Rule of Law

Our Massachusetts pols continually refer to The Rule of Law. We have a Constitution. We are a country based on the Rule of Law. They neglect the fact that coming into our country undocumented, without proper vetting and unlawfully, is in fact violating the Rule of Law. It is annoying to listen to the likes of Markey, Warren, Neal, Clark and the rest of the gang bloviate about the poor immigrants. They raise concerns about the Trump administration cutting Medicare while they turn a blind eye to the system being bankrupt by people who are not entitled to it. These pols would be better served to concentrate on Massachusetts instead of grandstanding.

What do Democrats not understand? The Constitution specifically states it’s a crime to enter the country illegally. The Dems believe they’re moral and virtuous souls in allowing anyone in without being vetted. Do they need votes that bad? The sanctimonious, self-righteous Dems, especially the elites, think they know what’s best for their constituents. Why not put it to a vote via a ballot question? It would never happen because they know they would be in the minority! Huge reason why Trump won. Let’s let the voters decide! It’s a travesty our tax money is used to support those who shouldn’t even be here. Let them apply for green cards, asylum, or citizenship the right way as did the millions before them.

Notice how elected Democrats are demanding the unmasking of ICE agents, and not the unmasking of the anarchists burning LA today, the same ones that burned Midwestern cities to the ground during their “fiery but mostly peaceful” George Floyd riots in 2020?

It’s like Trump said before, he stands for us, Democrats stand for everyone else.

Tania Fernandes Anderson

Apparently, the  long and agonizing departure of Boston City Councilor Tania Fernandes Anderson from the Boston City Council has now been announced as July 4, 2025. She should have left months ago but held on as long as she wanted. Took her much too long to hand in her letter of resignation. She is indeed leaving a legacy of disgrace as she leaves City Council chambers.

The soon-to-be-gone councilor stated she had been focused on preparing a transition plan for the district and has assembled a district workbook to “ensure the work lives on, accessible, actionable and owned by you and your next councilor.”

Fernandes Anderson thanked her constituency for trusting her, challenging her and building with her. No apologies from her to her constituents for a seeming betrayal of their trust placed in her.

She is right about one thing: the people of her district will go forward stronger. New candidates are now seeking support from District 7 voters to move on. Eleven candidates will be on the Sept. 9 preliminary. Two of them will move on to the Nov. 4 election and the winner will then be the new voice of District 7.

Hopefully the winning candidate in the November election will be seated immediately rather than keeping the seat vacant until early January.
