Lewis Hamilton delivered a worrying assessment on Ferrari after he missed out on yet another podium finish.

Hamilton finished sixth in the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday as Oscar Piastri won his fifth race of the 2025 season with McLaren.

As a joint record seven-time Formula 1 world champion, the Brit has the most podium finishes in the sport's history with 202.

However, all of those have come at his former teams McLaren and Mercedes, with his Ferrari career struggles continuing on the track.

Hamilton appeared to have difficulties with his car at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and voiced his concern on the team radio by saying, 'Something is wrong with this car.'

Speaking to Sky Sports after, a reporter asked him: "Can you tell us how it felt and what you were dealing with?"

But Hamilton replied: "Not particularly. It was just not a great day."

When questioned on the Ferrari strategy for the race, he insisted: "Strategy was good, team did a great job. Just... that's it."

Commenting on his disappointing mood, Hamilton then bullishly remarked: "What do you want me to say?

"We had a really bad day and I've got nothing to say. It was a difficult day. There's nothing else to add to it.

"It was terrible. There's no point explaining it. It's not your fault. I just don't know what to say."

To which the reporter replied: "I do understand that. I just hope that they find answers for you."

However, Hamilton raised doubts over this outcome by issuing a brutally honest four-word response.

He simply stated: "I'm sure they won't."

Before adding: "It was probably just me."

Hamilton's highest finish this season came at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix when he crossed the line in fourth.

His Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc on the other hand has finished on the podium three times, with the latest one coming at the end of a dramatic race on Sunday.

Reigning champion Max Verstappen finished fifth, but was given a ten-second penalty after colliding with George Russell.

The former appeared to be pushed wide by the latter late on in the Grand Prix in their battle towards the top of the standings.

Verstappen was then told to let Russell through by Red Bull, but he protested and then seemed to intentionally hit his rival as he passed.

Both drivers were summoned to the stewards over the incident, leading to the Dutch driver to receive punishment.
