Love Island fans say 'finally' as show welcomes back fun twist
Love Island fans were thrilled to see one of the show's iconic features make a return during Monday's episode, with many sharing their thoughts on social media
Love Island was back on TV screens with another action-packed episode on Monday (16th June), with tensions rising in the villa and a challenge causing plenty of drama.
The episode marked the first raunchy challenge of the series, with the Islanders exiting the villa to take part in Got The Receipts.
The task saw the Islanders slide down a conveyor belt, swipe their card and pick up a receipt, which displayed a fact about an Islander of the opposite sex. They then had to decide who the fact was about and kiss the person they'd chosen.
The challenges are an iconic part of Love Island and feature each year, with fans thrilled to see the challenges return on social media.

"Finally theyâre doing a challenge #loveisland," one person wrote, while another excitedly said: "CHALLENGE TIME!!! #Loveisland."
"Love these challenges, gets them so worked up!! #LoveislandUK #LoveIsland," another Love Island fan wrote on X, and somebody else added: "oh how i missed the running scene #loveisland."
The challenge caused drama among the Islanders, as many secrets were exposed and kisses shared.
It was later revealed that Harry, Dejon and Shea had gone into the task with a secret plan to kiss the girl they wanted to, rather than answer the questions and kiss the girl they thought the fact was about.
Harry quickly owned up to Tommy about the plan, admitting: "We were all like, boys lets just forget the question and just say who you wanna kiss - so Shea was like I wanna kiss Megan, when he read it out, me and D said, âThatâs Megan!ââ

The girls were understandably unimpressed by the boys' actions, with news of their plan quickly spreading across the villa as they attempted to justify it to everyone.
Tommy wasted no time informing Megan of what had gone on, revealing Shea's plan to kiss her.
"He failed, you shut him down and heâs still going for it, the only reason I think heâs doing that is to p*** me off and heâs f***ing done it.," Tommy fumed, before later pulling Shea for a chat.
Elsewhere in Monday's episode, Toni quizzed Conor on how he feels about her and new bombshell Emily, while tensions rose between Meg and Malisha once again, with Alima finding herself in the middle.
Love Island airs each night on ITV2 at 9pm. All episodes are available to stream on ITVX.
