Russian patriot loses it after war grave flooded in sewage in blow for Putin

A Russian patriot could not contain his anger after discovering a war cemetery for World War II veterans flooded in sewage water. Every year Russians remember the sacrifices of Soviet soldiers who died fighting the Nazis during the Second World War.
Throughout the country on May 9, local communities hold Victory Day parades and commemoration events, the most spectacular taking place in Moscow. The Soviet Union paid a heavy price in its fight with Hitler's Germany, losing 8.7 million soldiers and 19 million civilians. Memories of the fallen are sacred in Russia, with veterans enjoying a deep respect among the public.

Putin himself has tried to use memories of World War II to boost his own popularity and to justify his brutal war in Ukraine.
But when a cemetery in Samara was flooded with faeces-contaminated water after a sewage pipe burst open, a Russian man was left incandescent with rage.
The man shot a video of the submerged burial ground and raged: "Hear me you f***ing assholes. This is where the veterans of the Great Patriotic War are laid to rest.
"It's Kryazheskoye cemetery, Samara. It is all flooded with faeces. WTF, are you f***ing nuts? You guys have such an appreciation for your ancestors."
Pointing his camera at one grave, he continued: "Right here you can see that a World War II veteran is buried.
"Fear God, b***h. Fear God. Come here, you godless people. Fix this. Pump this s**t out. What the f**k are you doing here."
Burst pipes containing sewage and hot water for heating are common events in Russia's provinces, where corruption and poor management are familiar problems.
In January, the long-suffering residents of Novosibirsk were confronted by a "river of s***" after a sewage pipe exploded and leaked.
Hundreds of litres of foul-smelling water gushed from the broken sewage pipe, flooding a large area in the city centre.
Meanwhile, an unidentified drone flew over Russia's embassy in Sweden and dropped a paint bomb close to the main entrance.
The embassy said that similar attacks have been going on for over a year, and have called for the government to take action against the perpetrators.
"Sweden is obliged to curb its ultras, take control of the situation and strictly comply with the Vienna Convention," said Maria Zakharova - the spokeswoman for Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
