Tommy Fury provides update on Tyson Fury retirement as U-turn rumours continue to swirl
Itâ??s been rumoured the superstar could come out of retirement for the blockbuster fight
Tommy Fury has opened up on his brother, Tyson, and whether the boxing icon could return to the sport.
Tyson Fury announced his retirement from boxing after the second defeat of his career, both at the hands of Oleksandr Usyk, but fans can’t help but feel the Gypsy King has unfinished business in the ring.
Tyson, 36, had an illustrious career including a trilogy with American Deontay Wilder, two wins against Derek Chisora as well as victories over Dillian Whyte and Wladimir Klitschko to take his current net worth to an estimated £150million.
The Gypsy King was unbeaten until his fights with Usyk, in which he was beaten on both occasions leading to his subsequent retirement from the sport.

An all-English bout between two of the biggest names in boxing: Tyson Fury v Anthony Joshua, at a packed-out Wembley. It was a dream sold to eager fans, but one that, due to Fury’s retirement, will not come to fruition.
Or will it?
Rumours of a fight between the two have never slowed in spite of Fury stepping away from the sport.

This time, Tyson’s brother, Fury, added fuel to the fire. In an interview with the Daily Mail, the 26-year-old said: “I don't know if he's going to make a comeback. It's a tough thing to say, isn't it?
“He's retired and come back plenty of times, but I don't think he's got anything left to give to the sport. He's won every belt there is. He's done everything.
Tommy continued: “Tyson's his own man, and he'll make that decision. But as of right now, I don't know. I haven't got a clue. I think he's enjoying retirement.”

Tommy’s words come just after his father, John Fury, broke his silence after his son’s final fight. John maintained Tyson’s claims that he had been ‘robbed’ in the Usyk fight.
The 59-year-old, speaking to SecondsOut, said: “They think ‘we’ll rob you today, let the dust settle, we’ll offer you a few more quid later on and get you back it’.
“Guess what? You can’t do that with him now, cause he’s had enough."

“I know he’s always been a little overweight, but you’ve got to look like you’ve done something," he continued.
“His body [in Fury v Usyk II] didn’t represent work. What I call work and his team calls work is two different things.”
The ball seems to be entirely in Fury’s court for the AJ fight, with Joshua saying he will do ‘everything he can’ to make the fight happen, but he ‘can’t control what another man is going to do’.
It is certainly one to watch over the coming months.
