Donald Trump said he never guaranteed that the US would not get involved in any new wars, despite stating he would not get involved during his 2024 presidential campaign. Mr Trump repeatedly criticised the USinvolvement in Middle Eastern countries. "Under Trump, we will have no more wars, no more disruptions, and we will have prosperity and peace,†he said during his campaign against Kamala Harris. Speaking to NBC's Kristen Welker on Sunday (7 June), the US president denied ever promising any such thing. “First of all, I didnguarantee no war.
