A budding content creator has revealed that he missed an invitation to join Kai Cenat’s Streamer University after accidentally ignoring the Twitch star in his chat.

For some creators, being able to enter Kai Cenat’s Streamer University has been a dream come true. Not only did they get to learn more about content creation, and collab alongside massive names, but the program was also completely free, with everything related to travel, food, and lodging alll covered.

Kai first announced Streamer University in February 2025, and it quickly gained traction as many up-and-coming streamers wanted to get in. Although Kai specified that even a general creator could apply, only 120 people were brought in at the end.

Now that the program has wrapped up, however, one particular creator realized he made a grave mistake: Not realizing that he was actually invited by Kai himself.

Streamer missed the opportunity to join Kai Cenat’s Streamer University

In a clip that has gone viral on social media, the streamer was seen scrolling up his chat history to show the invitation from Kai he had missed. If that’s not painful enough, the popular streamer was also the only person in his chat at the time.

“Look at this y’all, I’m not lying. Verified Kai Cenat,” he pointed out when scrolling back through the messages from the popular streamer.

Kai tried to have him join Streamer University by bringing up his “invitation.” He even sent multiple messages to let him know he was the only viewer in his chat and tried to grab his attention even more by writing, “Do you see me?”

With the creator not responding, Kai eventually said “bye” and left. By the time he realized, it was already too late. Following this, the creator explained: “My s***t” was not loading at first.”

Kai himself brought this encounter up, as seen in a separate clip. He said: “I invited a person to streamer university yesterday while he was streaming; I was the only viewer in his chat. He was not paying attention to me and had never seen it.”
