What time is Rory McIlroy teeing off today at the US Open?
The Northern Irishman hopes to add to his trophy cabinet in Oakmont Country Club
Rory McIlroy begins his quest to capture the 2025 US Open as the action gets underway on Thursday.
The action is just getting underway in Oakmont, with McIlroy having a morning start.
The Holywood man has seemed to lose a bit of his competitive edge recently after winning the Masters in Augusta, with Paul McGinley describing his demeanour as "not normal".
His form has undergone something of a dip after capturing the green jacket in April, which secured him a career Grand Slam.
He'll be looking forward to this tournament however, after bedding in a new driver at the Canadian Open.
He tees off alongside his close friend Shane Lowry, and Masters playoff rival Justin Rose.
Their group gets going at 12:40PM Irish time.
The big question is whether anyone can catch Scottie Scheffler as he looks to be the form man going into the tournament.
The action can be watched on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Golf.
