FIFA's revamped Club World Cup gets underway when Al Ahly play Inter Miami at Hard Rock Stadium in south Florida.
The curtain-raiser of the controversial tournament begins at 8pm local time (1am Sunday BST) at the home of the Miami Dolphins NFL team.
Chelsea and Manchester City are the Premier League's representatives in the competition, going up against European heavyweights Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Inter Milan as well as the best teams from Asia and the Arab nations.
With ÂŁ775 million being split between the teams competing, Club World Cup winners could scoop a massive ÂŁ97m with FIFA keen to reward teams who take the competition seriously.
And exposure is on offer as well with the streaming service DAZN showing every game for free on their service worldwide while other broadcasters have agreed deals to show matches locally.
In the United Kingdom, Channel 5 will be showing select matches with a focus on Chelsea and City's games.
As for Al Ahly's game against Inter Miami - with all eyes set to be on Lionel Messi and his former Barcelona team-mates currently plying their trade for the David Beckham-owned club - that game is being shown on DAZN as well as TV stations worldwide.
