Chris Brown has been released on a $6.7 million bail after being arrested and charged with causing grievous bodily harm over an alleged nightclub attack he carried out on producer Abe Diaw in 2023.
The 36-year-old singer, who was previously denied a bail request due to the serious nature of the allegations, was granted bail on Wednesday, May 21, according to reporting by BBC.
Brown has not entered a plea yet but he did appear in front of the Manchester Magistratesβ Court in the north of England after being arrested in Manchester, England on May 15.
According to the conditions of his bail, Brown will be able to head out on his Breezy Bowl tour in celebration of 20 years of his career. The show begins with a sold-out performance in Amsterdam on June 8.
