The former footballer and BBC Homes Under The Hammer star had failed to set his safety net for the question, losing big money for his two charities
Dion Dublin was left gutted on Who Wants To Be a Millionaire after losing £15k for his charities after taking th advice of his accountant.
The footballing legend, pundit and BBC Homes Under The Hammer presenter appeared on a special celebrity edition of the ITV quiz show hosted by Jeremy Clarkson on Saturday night.

Dion, 56, explained he had extra pressure on his shoulders as he was playing for two charities close to his heart, including one for a former BBC colleague who died after a battle with ovarian cancer.

Dion was playing for the Dianne Oxberry Trust, set up after the BBC weather presenter died on 10 January 2019 shortly after being diagnosed with the disease, leaving her husband and young children behind, and the Pet Blood Bank.
But Dion was left gutted after failing to set his safety net on £32,000 before crashing out despite using two lifelines.

Thinking he could get at least one further, the star played on and left with just £1,000 after, ironically, his accountant got the answer wrong.
Jeremy had asked Dion: "Which of these events did nt occur in the 1990s?"
Dion, who instantly mused he believed it could be John Major becoming Prime Minister, took a 50/50.

When he was left with John Major on the board alongside the Eden Project opening, he opted to phone his accountant, who confidently said it was John Major.
"I'll go with Marco because he knows his stuff," Dion told Jeremy.
He looked downcast as the host told him he would be walking away with just £1,000, or £500 each for his charities.

"That's the wrong answer," Jeremy said, "He followed thatcher didn't he. It was 1990 exactly. The Eden Project opened in 2001."
Jeremy quipped: "You need a new accountant."
