GMB Richard Madeley rages 'answer the question' as Labour minister squirms
Labour minister Sarah Jones was grilled over the UK's Brexit "reset" deal with the EU on Good Morning Britain.

Good Morning Britain turned tense as Richard Madeley issued a demand to Sarah Jones. Madeley and his co-host Susanna Reid were joined by the minister of state for industry on Tuesday's (May 20) instalment of the ITV programme, just one day after Keir Starmer made a landmark Brexit "reset" deal with the European Union.
The prime minister made a late concession on fisheries to allow the EU 12 years of ongoing access to British waters on status quo arrangements. They will now expire in 2038 in a major win for the EU. The UK had originally sought just a four year extension.

Kicking the interview off on Good Morning Britain, Reid questioned whether the UK were "bounced into" the 12-year deal after originally hoping for an extension of just four.
Jones responded: "This deal will significantly change our ability to trade with our closest trading partners and mean that we won't have hundreds of pounds per lorry load of produce."
Already frustrated, Madeley declared: "We're talking about the concession on fishing. Can you answer the question please? You're generalising."
Jones hit back: "Yes, Richard. Let me, let me come to that. I'm... I'm... Let me come to that."
The pair continued interrupting each other as Madeley snapped: "No. You're not answering the question which was are you selling the British fishing industry out?"
The politician denied these claims, adding that she was setting the context. "We are protecting the existing system so there will be no more access to our waters than currently exists. There will be the same access we have into European waters, that we currently have, that brings us benefits," Jones explained.
