Garnacho's brother slams Ruben Amorim after Manchester United defeat
Alejandro Garnacho came off the bench in the second half of Man Utd's defeat to Tottenham in the Europa League final.
Alejandro Garnacho's brother has laughed at Ruben Amorim's decision not to start him in the Europa League final.
Manchester United suffered a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham in the Europa League final on Wednesday, and Garnacho was introduced to the game from the bench with 20 minutes remaining.
‌
Earlier in the day, Garnacho uploaded a photo of himself scoring in last season's FA Cup final on Instagram. It appeared to suggest he'd been omitted from the starting XI, and Garnacho was confirmed to be on the bench at the Estadio de San Mames when the team news was revealed.
‌
Garnacho's social media activity has got him into hot water in the past and his younger brother, Roberto, hasn't been a stranger to controversy since their family moved to Manchester.
And Roberto Garnacho caused a stir again after the final on Wednesday night when he posted on social media: "Working as no one else, helping every round, coming from two goals last two finals, just to be on the pitch for 19 mins and get thrown under the bus. Wowe, hahahaha."

United have been aware of Garnacho's younger brother's social media in the past. There have been concerns about the player himself, and he apologised to his United teammates in February after storming off down the tunnel at Old Trafford when he was substituted against Ipswich Town.
Garnacho was sacrificed after Patrick Dorgu received a red card and returned to the dressing room. He subsequently apologised to Amorim and offered to pay for dinner for his teammates.
"It was funny because in the next day he came to me, to my office," said Amorim.
‌
"I did some investigations, and he went to the dressing room, he changed his clothes because he was wet. He watched the game in the different [place], not on the bench. In the end of the game he was there, then he went home, so there's not an issue there.
"But I told them that in Manchester United everything is important, and the perception in a big club is really important, so he's going to pay a dinner to all the team, and that's it.
"I think he understands. He was subbed, he was playing well and has to go off in that moment of the game. It's hard to deal with everything but they have to deal with everything. I just try to help them be better footballers."
