ITV Love Island's Blu Chegini 'gutted' as he breaks silence after brutal twist
Blu Chegini became the latest islander to be dumped from the villa on Friday (June 13) night
Dumped Love Island star Blu Chegini has opened up about his swift exit from the villa on Friday (June 13) night. In a dramatic twist following the recoupling, Blu and Shea were forced to make a tough decision, where they had to choose which of them would pack their bags after a particularly brief stint.
But the boys couldn't reach an agreement, prompting input from their fellow Islanders. Ultimately, the group decided it was time for Blu to leave as he had spent more time in the villa compared to newbie Shea.
Blu, one of the original members of this series and first paired with Alima, acknowledged their purely platonic connection. Not long after, he pursued Shakira, even stealing a kiss in the hideaway.

Breaking his silence on the eviction decision, Blu recounted: "We asked them for their point of view as we were both really stubborn in that situation. We weren't going to budge, so we had to get them to make the decision."
He felt his villa relationships were stronger given his longer tenure there. He was proactive in seeking connections and didn't waste any time, unlike Shea who appeared more relaxed, reports the Mirror.
"Everyone had their own thoughts. But listen, someone's got to go at the end of the day. The way it went was better than I thought it would have gone; I had some nice things said about me and that meant a lot to me."

Blu's island journey was remarkably short-lived. The 26-year-old reality star has now shared his thoughts, following his exit as he said: "I don't think I could have done any more than I did. I wanted to go there and find a spark, and as much as I tried to see if I could get a connection or have that sort of flirty banter, I couldn't really find it."
Despite being unable to form a connection himself, Blu revealed that Meg and Dejon had already found what everyone goes in the villa to find.

"Meg and Dejon have formed a connection straight away. Everyone wants to go in there and find that connection straight away. They've formed a bond that is nice to see and I think they can go far," he dished.
Blu also gave his thoughts on original couple Tommy and Megan's chances.
"Tommy is really trying with Megan and I think they could do well as well. But you just don't know because a bombshell could come in and choose Megan or Meg and it would stir the pot, so who knows," he mused.
