Jennifer Lawrence had no hard feelings about her sex scenes with Robert Pattinson.
The Oscar winner revealed the secret to feeling comfortable with the Twilight alum while filming intimate scenes for their new film Die, My Love, a psychological drama that premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on May 17.
And for Jennifer, a lot of the credit goes to an activity the movie's director Lynne Ramsay made them do together before filming began.
"She had us do dance lessons before we started shooting," Jennifer told Brut. in a May 18 interview at the festival, "which was so humiliating and embarrassing."
And while the Hunger Games actress may not have been a fan of her and Robert's dance sessions at first, she admitted that the lessons built an "instant trust" and ultimately "helped a lot."
"Then on our first day of shooting," Jennifer joked, "we were naked, attacking each other like tigers."

As for Robert, the 39-year-old echoed her sentiment, adding that jumping into filming their sex scenes immediately after their pre-production dance classes was a smart decision.

"You think it can't get more embarrassing and they're like, 'Now, do it naked,'" the Batman star told Brut. "It was kind of a good idea actually because if we didn't like each other, then it becomes increasingly more awkward [as production continues]."
And that wasn't the only reason Jennifer, 34, and Robert's NSFW scenes together went off without a hitch. Additionally, the pair noted that having an intimacy coordinator on set of the movie—which also stars LaKeith Stanfield, Sissy Spacek and Nick Nolte—made them feel safe.
"And it's not just to feel secure sometimes," Robert said. "I think directors sometimes are a little bit scared to say, like, 'Your body looks weird in this angle.' And if you have someone else whose specific job is to say, 'Just move a little bit in this direction,' you're gonna like it more."
