Jessica Simpson Models Her Shoe Collection on ‘American Idol’ Season 23 Finale, Returns to Live TV After 15 Years in Metallic Dress

Jessica Simpson had her first live TV performance in 15 years on the “American Idol” Season 23 finale on Sunday. The singer dressed up for the occasion in a body-con metallic dress, wearing accessories and shoes from her Jessica Simpson Collection.
Simpson’s metallic dress featured a plunging neckline held together by two metal Larimar buckles at her chest that matched the rest of her turquoise jewelry. She paired her metallic gown with a vintage Jessica Simpson Collection belt and the brand’s Aamina platform heels.

The shoes were made for the singer in gold, but will be available on jessicasimpson.com this summer. She previously shared photos of herself wearing the shoes on Instagram from when she was recording her new EP and wore them with an orange Forte Forte patterned-intarsia set, made up of a long-sleeve top and high-waisted trousers.

Along with Simpson, other stars joined the finale with performances from Brandon Lake, Goo Goo Dolls, Good Charlotte, Jennifer Holliday, Josh Groban, Kirk Franklin, Myles Smith, Patti LaBelle and Salt-N-Pepa. Jamal Roberts was named as this season’s winner.
