JoJo Siwa Posts Cozy Photos With Chris Hughes Weeks After Breakup
The two sparked romance rumors during their time in the "Celebrity Big Brother" house.
JoJo Siwa apparently celebrated her birthday by getting cozy with former âCelebrity Big Brotherâ housemate Chris Hughes.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Siwa shared photos from her birthday week, including a few with Hughes. In one photo, Siwaâs leg rests on Hughesâ leg, while she rests her head on his shoulder. In another photo, Hughesâ arm rests on Siwaâs leg.

In the caption, Siwa wrote that her birthday week was âmore magical than anythingâ and âa week Iâll remember for the rest of my life.â
Siwa, an actor, singer and dancer, sparked romance rumors with TV personality Hughes during their time together on âCelebrity Big Brotherâ earlier this year. Siwa, who came out as LGBTQ+ in 2021, was dating Kath Ebbs while she was on the reality competition show, but during the showâs afterparty, Siwa dumped Ebbs.
âI was told that there are confused feelings there⌠and that she had realized in the house that I wasnât the person that [she] wanted to spend the foreseeable future with, which has honestly been so shocking, that I feel kind of subhuman right now,â Ebbs said on social media earlier this month. âI feel incredibly humiliated, and I feel a bit embarrassed.â

On âCelebrity Big Brother,â Siwa and Hughes got emotionally and physically close, leading viewers to question whether they were romantically involved. During one interaction, Hughes and Siwa lay in bed together while Hughes scratched Siwaâs bare back.
After Siwa broke up with Ebbs, Siwa said on âThe Viall Filesâ podcast that Hughes had nothing to do with the breakup.

âObviously, a lot of people think that Chris has something to do with it,â Siwa said.
âChris does not have absolutely anything to do with it. Chris and I are friends. We have a very, very great friendship.â

Siwaâs birthday post follows Hughes sharing photos of the two of them on Tuesday. He and Siwa can be seen lying on a couch together in one, while in another, Siwa is sitting in his lap. Hughes captioned the photos, âThe previous 7 days have been the prettiest.â
