Lorraine Kelly reveals she's undergoing surgery in candid health update

ITV star Lorraine Kelly has revealed on social media that sheâs undergoing surgery in a candid health update.
The popular Scottish native has been working with the station since 1988 when she joined Good Morning Britain.

Appearing on GMTV, This Morning and Daybreak over the years, Lorraine has had her own self-titled talk show since 2010.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday (May 3), Lorraine revealed that she is having an âall preventativeâ keyhole surgery.
The procedure which she said was to be performed on Saturday will see Lorraine having her ovaries removed.
Lorraine said in a video: âI just wanted to let you know Iâm having a wee procedure today.
Article continues belowâIâve not been feeling all that well for a little while, so I had some scans and tests, and I have to have my ovaries and my tubes taken out.
âItâs purely preventative, itâs going to be with keyhole surgery, which is incredible, and Iâm being very well looked after."

Reassuring her followers, Lorraine added: âIâll obviously see you really soon, and Iâm going to be totally fine. See you soon, bye.â
A host of Lorraineâs famous friends and fans rushed to the comments section of her post to wish her well and commend her honesty.
