Love Island 2025 start time confirmed as series 12 kicks off on ITV2 and ITVX
Love Island is back on our screens and it's not to be missed as a brand new group of singletons live together in a villa in the hopes of finding love and winning a cash prize
Summer has officially arrived and with it comes the annual obsession over Love Island.
2025 marks a decade since ITV breathed new life into Love Island, which originally aired as a celebrity series back in 2005 and 2006.
Over the years, the show has evolved into an unexpected global sensation, introducing us to a host of familiar faces.
From Molly-Mae Hague, Tommy Fury, Chris Hughes, Maura Higgins, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, to Curtis Pritchard, the list of islanders who have gone on to achieve great things is endless.
The premise is straightforward: a group of singletons shack up in a villa, pair off in hopes of finding love, and compete for a hefty cash prize of £50,000, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan were crowned winners of the last series following a public vote, but sadly announced their split in October.
"A lot of you have been wondering about Josh and I and why we haven't been making appearances.
"I know it's a big disappointment for a lot of you as it is for me too. Your support for us hasn't gone unnoticed and I will forever be grateful for it," Mimi shared at the time.
Last year's season stirred up controversy when The Only Way Is Essex star Joey Essex made a surprise entrance into the villa, leaving viewers at home gobsmacked.

Some fans questioned the fairness of allowing a celebrity to participate in the dating show, arguing that it could give him an unfair advantage over the other islanders. However, he was sent packing just before the grand finale.
Get ready for another dose of sun-kissed romance as Love Island returns for its second outing this year, following the success of All Stars' second season in January, where Casey O'Gorman and Gabby Allen from series nine and three emerged victorious, but sadly the flame has fizzled out since then.
Maya Jama is back at the helm for another season, marking her second year as the show's presenter after stepping in for Laura Whitmore, who helmed the series for three years, back in 2023.
