Love Island bombshells get one huge clue before entering villa
The Love Island winner opened up about his experience as a bombshell and offered an update on his relationship with a fellow islander

Love Island star Sammy Root has revealed behind-the-scenes secrets from his time as the villa's bombshell.
Sammy claimed the ITV crown back in 2023, winning £50,000 alongside Jess Harding. The 24-year-old entered the show as a bombshell in the first week, and went on to woo Jess and the public.
ITV fans will also recall that Sammy returned to our screens in Love Island: All Stars, back in January. This time, he didn't walk away with the crown, but sparked a romance with fellow islander Elma Pazar, who he described to OK! as "the loveliest girl ever."
Now, Sammy has shared one major clue he was offered before entering the villa.
Speaking exclusively to OK!'s Screen Time team, he explained that the show's late arrivals jet off to Majorca at the start the show, but they sit in wait at separate villas.

However, they do not meet the rest of the cast and "don't have a clue who's going to be in there."
Although they are kept in the dark about what the other islanders are up to, bombshells are sometimes offered a glimpse at the drama.

Sammy revealed: "Sometimes they'll offer you to watch an episode, so you can decide who you're leaning towards."
During his second stint on the show, Sammy accepted the offer, but that didn't change how he chose a partner.
Explaining why he wasn't convinced by watching an episode, he said: "I didn't want to choose someone based on what I'd seen on Love Island because there's so much you don't actually see. So I would have rather gone in and decided for myself based on meeting people."

Despite frequently facing split rumours, the duo is still going strong. Fans often speculate about the pair's breakup, sometimes simply because Elma posts without her boyfriend.
While they don't expect to tie the knot just yet, Sammy has confirmed that the relationship is going in the right direction.
"I think me and Elms are just in our own little world, taking things day by day," he concluded.
