Peppa Pig has become a big sister for the second time as Mummy Pig has given birth to a baby girl.
On Tuesday morning’s Good Morning Britain, it was revealed that Mummy Pig welcomed a daughter named Evie, marking the first new addition to the animated family since Peppa’s younger brother George was introduced 20 years ago.

The excitement reached fever pitch last month during a pink-themed gender reveal celebration at London’s Battersea Power Station, where the famous chimneys lit up in honour of the new baby girl.
According to GMB, Evie arrived at 5:34am in the exclusive Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington — the same luxury maternity ward where the Princess of Wales gave birth to Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

In keeping with the royal theme, the birth was announced with a town crier, scroll-style proclamation and a Peppa-branded birth certificate.
Mummy Pig, known to younger audiences for her "very important work" on her computer, is said to be resting, while Daddy Pig, who typically "takes big numbers, transmutes them and calculates their load-bearing tangents," is expected to give his first-ever television interview next week, complete with a baby Evie appearance.
Big siblings Peppa and George are reportedly “over the moon” about their little sister, with the Pig family looking forward to “lots of happy snorts and sleepless nights.”
The announcement comes as Peppa Pig expands its reach beyond the screen.

A new cinema special, Peppa Meets the Baby, debuts in over 2,600 cinemas across 19 countries from May 30. The hour-long feature includes 10 brand-new episodes and follows Peppa and George as they prepare for the arrival of their baby sister.
NCT (the National Childbirth Trust) was recently announced as the official UK charity partner for the franchise, with recent events — including the gender reveal — used to raise funds and awareness for pregnancy and parenting support.
Peppa Pig first aired in 2004 and has since been broadcast in 180 territories and translated into 40 languages. It's spawned books, toys and even two theme parks, with the global Peppa empire now worth over £1billion.
