Savannah James, wife of Met Gala 2025âs honorary chair, LeBron James, attended the coveted red carpet event on Monday in a dramatic, custom gown by Hanifa. The outfit embraced this yearâs theme, âSuperfine: Tailoring Black Style,â with its fusion of traditional menswear and evening wear.
Jamesâ dress featured a burgundy pin-striped pattern throughout, a cropped jacket top with traditional lapels and oversized white French cuffs and a dramatic cutout in the midriff section. It also included a mermaid-style skirt that flared dramatically into a massive train with structured folds and pleating, as well as a burgundy necktie and a decorative silver brooch on the lapel.

The entrepreneur was styled by her longtime collaborator Casey âIconâ Billingsley, who dressed her in a custom Alexander McQueen in the same burgundy shade over the weekend for a pre-Met Gala event.
