The 23 teams joining Tottenham in next season's Champions League

Tottenham will be competing at the top table of European football once again next season. Ange Postecoglou's side have qualified for the 2025/26 edition of the Champions League as a result of their Europa League final triumph on Wednesday evening.
Tottenham beat Manchester United 1-0 at San Mames Stadium in Bilbao following Brennan Johnson's goal shortly before half-time. The Wales international again demonstrated his incredible knack of arriving in the right position in the box at the crucial time to score yet another goal for Spurs.
Manchester United did create a couple of chances in the second half but Tottenham had Micky van de Ven and Guglielmo Vicario to thank for their heroics as they denied Rasmus Hojlund and Luke Shaw respectively. The north London club did hang on to claim a 1-0 win and also bring an end to their 17-year trophy wait.
Tottenham may potentially finish the Premier League season one place above the drop zone but they will be competing in the Champions League come September. Postecoglou and his team will find out their eight league phase opponents when the draw is made on Thursday, August 28.
A number of teams have already qualified for next season's competition, with 24 teams assured of their place in the 36-team league phase table. Others will have to go through the qualifying rounds to secure their place in the league phase, including Celtic, Basel and Bodo/Glimt who will all enter in the play-off round.
As things stand right now, Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal are the Premier League's representatives in the Champions League. There are three more places up for grabs via the league table, with Manchester City, Newcastle United, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest in a five-way battle to secure a Premier League top-five finish.
Napoli, Inter Milan and Atalanta are Italy's representatives, while Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Athletic Club and Villarreal have qualified via La Liga. German sides Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund are involved and the same goes for PSG, Marseille and Monaco.
PSV, Ajax, Sporting CP, Galatasaray, Slavia Prague and Olympiacos complete the teams already guaranteed a league phase berth.
