Indie rock band Arcade Fire made their sixth appearance on Saturday Night Live, performing songs from their newest studio album, Pink Elephant, which was released Friday.
The Canadian quintet opened with the title track, the second of the albumās ten songs.
Pink Elephant, Arcade Fireās seventh studio album and their first since 2022ās We, was recorded at Good News Recording Studio in New Orleans, which belongs to married bandmates Win Butler and RĆ©gine Chassagne.
The albumās lead single is āYear of the Snake,ā which the group performed later.
Arcade Fire hasnāt yet announced a tour in support of their latest album. Their next scheduled show is Wednesday at Londonās Royal Albert Hall, which comes on the heels of dates in Canada and along the U.S. east coast.
The band last appeared on SNL three years ago for what was also that seasonās Motherās Day episode. They did, however, perform at the late night showās 50th anniversary homecoming concert in February, joining David Byrne and St. Vincent for a rendition of David Bowieās āHeroes.ā
