One year after the now-exes made their red carpet debut on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of art, the actor, 32, and pop star, 25, both attended fashionâs biggest night on Monday, May 5, posing on the carpet individually.
It was the first time the stars have walked the same red carpet since they officially called it quits at the end of 2024.

For this yearâs event â which spotlights the Met's spring 2025 exhibition, âSuperfine: Tailoring Black Style", the theme for the gala â Keoghan wore a black suit with intricate details on the collar and floral embroidery on the sleeves. A red scarf cinched his waist, and he finished the look with simple black dress shoes.

Carpenter, meanwhile, went pantless in a maroon Louis Vuitton bodysuit featuring a lengthy train. She teamed the tuxedo-style look with diamond necklaces, rings and an anklet, plus "super-high shoes," which she described as a "staple for me in my life."

At the 2024 Met Gala, Keoghan and Carpenter made their relationship red carpet official â just a few months after confirming their romance with a February date night â with the Saltburn star wrapping his arm around the singerâs waist for a photo. The stars also had two of the most talked-about looks of the night.

Taking inspiration from the dress code âThe Garden of Time,â Keoghan made his personal debut at the 2024 event in a velvet Burberry jacket, waistcoat and trousers, and a ruffled silk poplin shirt. He paired the look with leather Oxford boots and the real showstopper: a black wool top hat.

Meanwhile, Carpenter â who attended her first Met Gala in a gilded Paco Rabanne gown in 2022 â looked like a modern-day Cinderella, rocking a black and baby blue Oscar de la Renta dress with a sweetheart neckline and cloud-like, satin skirt.
The Banshees of Inisherin actor and âEspressoâ singer went their separate ways last year after about a year of dating, a source confirmed to PEOPLE in December. (The couple first sparked romance rumors as they were spotted grabbing dinner together in Los Angeles in early December 2023.)
