Bebe Rexha has responded to Azealia Banksâ body-shaming comments â and revealed she has been through the loss of a pregnancy.
The pop star hit the red carpet at the Met Gala, one of the glitziest nights on the calendar. Azealia Banks used social media to give her â often incredibly caustic â opinions on the outfits, and tore into Bebe Rexhaâs attire.

âSis gives me â hormonal birth control implant or something,â the rapper wrote. âItâs giving Implanon/NuvaRing she needs removed or depo shot that needs to stop happening (Iâm not even tryna play her).â
Bebe Rexha opted to respond publicly, writing that Azealia Banks should try therapy. âYou might wanna jump on some type of therapy, sis,â she wrote. âLexapro worked great for me. Something that helps with the deep-rooted sadness and chaos you keep projecting. Healing looks good on everyone. Try it.â
It seems Azealia opting to reference âhormonal birth controlâ may have hurt Bebe, who wrote â and then deleted â an admission that she had been through the loss of a pregnancy.
âIâm tired of people commenting on my weight,â she wrote. âI have PCOS [polycystic ovary syndrome] and struggle with infertility. I got pregnant, and it didnât work out and Iâve been carrying that pain in silence.â
She added: âI never owed anyone that truth, but maybe now youâll think twice before commenting on anyoneâs bodyâŚâ
