A new twist has been added to the rumour mill concerning the Beckhams, with Cruz Beckham's partner possibly stirring things up.
Brazilian songstress Jackie Apostel, 29, currently dating 20 year old Cruz, was seen at numerous events celebrating David Beckham's milestone 50th birthday. While the Beckham family gathered to commemorate the occasion, one couple was noticeably missing - eldest son Brooklyn and his wife, actress Nicola Peltz.

Even though they were in London, Brooklyn and Nicola were nowhere to be seen at the festivities, a decision that’s believed to have left David and Victoria Beckham quite disappointed.

Jackie, who reportedly has become quite close with Victoria, indirectly raised eyebrows with an Instagram post shared during the celebrations, reports the Mirror.
In one image, Cruz is seen playfully pointing a knife at her, while Jackie captioned the series of snapshots: "I wish you could feel how much love was in the room these days through the phone."

Victoria, who is also 50, posted a collection of photos from the birthday weekend, tagging Romeo, Cruz, and Harper but notably excluding Brooklyn from the mentions.

Victoria usually would make note of her son's absence with a caption like "missing you @brooklynbeckham", but there was no such mention this year. Instead, she posted: "Creating special memories with family and friends. We love you all. @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven xx."
David mirrored his wife's sentiment by sharing the post and adding a similar notable exclusion: "I love you all, thank you for making my birthday so memorable."
Internally, sources have acknowledged that Brooklyn had let his parents know beforehand he and Nicola wouldn't make it to the event. Still, there was a glimmer of hope that they'd reconsider.

"David is heartbroken but putting a brave face on it," an insider disclosed. "Tonight is all about celebration and love, and he is swimming in it."
Family friends have hinted at underlying tensions brewing for a while now. A confidant observed: "Both have very much been invited as much-loved members of the family. But you never know, Brooklyn and Nicola will do what they want to do."

Additionally, one source commented to Mail Online: "It would absolutely destroy David if any fall-outs carry on and become big deals."
