Danny Dyer's Bafta speech leaves host apologising to viewers

This year's Bafta TV Awards, held at the Southbank Centreâs Royal Festival Hall, was a star-studded affair with the likes of Jessie J, Billie Piper and Emily Atack all dazzling on the red carpet.
The show began in Traitors style with Alan Cumming - host of the US version of the game show - wearing the well-known dark cloak in the Scottish Highlands castle.

The 60-year-old was summoned to the Traitor turret and asked to host the Bafta TV Awards this year. Of course he accepted and the ceremony got underway.

Much-loved shows like Baby Reindeer, Mr Bates vs The Post Office and Eastenders were the big winners on the night, with stars such as Ruth Jones, Jessica Gunning and Joe Lycett picking up the individual gongs.
It was a particularly big night for Danny Dyer, who won his first ever Bafta after thirty years in the industry.
The former EastEnders man won the accolade for his performance in Sky Comedy series Mr Bigstuff.
Article continues belowWhen it came to accepting the prize, Dyer admitted: "The acting was so bad it was funny".
He then stunned the audience by swearing several times, despite having being warned early about the Bafta rules.
The 47-year-old admitted he was getting âchoked upâ as he gave his acceptance speech on stage at London's Royal Festival Hall.

Dedicating the gong to writer Ryan Sampson, Danny said: "Heâs one of the greatest people ever to come out of Rotherham - not saying much. You won this for me mate."
He then added: "Girls - Sunni, Dani, I done it," before breaking the rules, emphatically saying: "I f***ing done it."

The 47-year-old star's vocab left host Cumming needing to say he was âasked to apologiseâ for the language from Danny.
Elsewhere on the night, ITV was recognised with the Bafta TV special award for commissioning post office drama Mr Bates vs The Post Office.
The four-part series renewed public attention on the subpostmasters who fought to clear their names in the wake of the Horizon scandal.
