Emily Atack's £2k BAFTAs dress was a nod to Rivals and we found a £55 version

After the success of the TV adaptation of Jilly Cooper's Rivals last year, Emily Atack paid homage to her character Sarah Stratton at this year's BAFTA awards. The actress turned heads in a stunning 80s-inspired ensemble, with her opening scene from the show just missing out on an award on the night.

The Inbetweeners star looked sensational in a floor-length white gown, believed to be Alex Perry's Asymmetric Draped Crêpe Gown which retails at £2135 (though you can currently nab it with a 10% discount using the code FIRST10). She paired the dress with elbow-length black leather gloves, giving a stylish nod to the 80s.

If you're all about that floor-length vibe, this Rat and Boa Rodeo Dress is priced at £295 and is a true maxi length, with the hemline elegantly pooling on the floor. The design is simpler, with less draping and no thigh split, but it does share a similar neckline to Emily's with a more rounded boat-style neck.

It also features a dramatic draped cowl back, revealing some skin to balance out the full length and long sleeve design. Club L's Victoria White Long-Sleeve Maxi Dress With Wrap Skirt, £75, also bears a resemblance to Emily's gown, with a wrap design and dramatic thigh split, and is available in white, black and olive green.

The crowning glory of Emily's look is, without a doubt, her leather gloves, and we've even managed to find an affordable version of these if you're keen on recreating her outfit.
