Eurovision 2025 finalists - the countries taking part in Saturday's grand final
Twenty-six different artists and bands will take to the stage on Saturday night (May 17) in Basel, Switzerland for the Song Contest

The time is almost here and the countries who are set to compete in the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest are officially confirmed.
Ahead of the Grand Final on Saturday (May 17) where 26 countries will perform to be crowned the new Eurovisionchampion, there have been two live Semi-Finals for Eurovision fans to review all 37 countries competing in 69th run of the major music event.
The top ten countries from each Semi-Final have made it through to the Grand Final, joining the 'big five' - United Kingdom, Spain, France, Germany and Italy - as well as last year's winners, and this year's hosts, Switzerland.
So with only 26 countries allowed to compete in Basel this weekend in St. Jakobshalle, 11 countries have had to bid farewell to the competition following the end of this week's semi-finals.
The semi-finals have also given fans the chance to see this year's Eurovision hosts - Hazel Brugger and Sandra Studer - for the first time before they are joined by Michelle Hunziker for the Grand Final.
According to Swiss broadcaster SRG SSR, the choice of the host trio for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 symbolises the values that define Switzerland: openness, diversity, multilingualism and a sense of togetherness.
Article continues belowHere in the UK, King of Eurovision, Graham Norton, returns to his role as BBC One commentator during the Grand Final of the world’s biggest music competition.
Graham will oversee proceedings from the commentary box in the arena for audiences watching at home, and later, singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor will deliver the UK National Jury results live. Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa had originally been confirmed as the UK spokesperson, but was replaced 'due to unforeseen circumstances'.
As well as this year's finalists, as is Eurovision Song Contest tradition, reigning champion Nemo will return to the Eurovision stage to remind us exactly why they took home that trophy in 2024, when they won with The Code.
