GMB's Richard Arnold brings Eurovision star to tears live on air with surprise
GMB star Richard Arnold is currently in Basel ahead of this weekend's Eurovision final, and this morning he was joined by UK hopefuls, Remember Monday

With the Eurovision final just around the corner, Richard Arnold took off to Basel with Good Morning Britain. In this morning's segment, he caught up with the UK's Eurovision hopefuls, Remember Monday, and things got teary for member Charlotte when Richard surprised her with a touching video.
Charlotte, previously a deputy head of sixth form, was visibly moved to tears as Richard presented her with a video of her students belting out their Eurovision track, What The Hell Just Happened? Mid-interview, Richard teased: "Charlotte, we've got a special message for you," to which an emotional Charlotte replied: "I was a deputy head of a Sixth Form and they are like my second family, they're amazing!"

The GMB presenter showcased a video featuring a host of students in a choir singing their successful song, What The Hell Just Happened? as Charlotte struggled to hold back tears.
Overwhelmed by the gesture, she exclaimed, "Awww, I just love them, look at them!" and added, "I hope that I inspire them by doing this. I love them!"
In other parts of the interview, the band admitted their nerves about the upcoming Saturday night's grand finale, saying: "Today is the first time we've felt a little bit anxious because it's real now!"

The first semi-final on Tuesday was a night to remember, with ten acts securing their spots in the final. The lucky finalists include Kyle Alessandro from Norway, Shkodra Elektronike representing Albania, KAJ for Sweden, VĂB from Iceland, Claude of the Netherlands, Justyna Steczkowska singing for Poland, Gabry Ponte from San Marino, Tommy Cash of Estonia, NAPA for Portugal, and Ziferblat hailing from Ukraine.
Sadly, this meant that Klemen from Slovenia, Red Sebastian of Belgium, Mamagama representing Azerbaijan, Marko BosĚnjak for Croatia, and Theo Evan from Cyprus didn't make the cut and will miss out on performing in Saturday's grand finale.
In a delightful twist, semi-final viewers were treated to an unexpected message from the legendary Celine Dion. The icon, who clinched Eurovision victory for Switzerland back in 1988, sent her love before a tribute performance of her winning track 'Ne partez pas sans moi'.
Celine reminisced about her "life-changing moment" at Eurovision and expressed her heartfelt wish, saying: "I'd love nothing more to be with you."
