Tom Cruise meets fans as he hits red carpet at Mission: Impossible London premiere
The film marks the eighth, and possibly final, instalment of the action spy franchise, with other stars of the film expected on the red carpet

Tom Cruise was clearly keen to kick off proceedings and was one of the first arrivals on the red carpet at the UK premiere for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.
The film marks the eighth, and possibly final, instalment of the Cruise-led action spy franchise based on the 1966 television series of the same name.
The 62-year-old Hollywood star was soon joined by director Christopher McQuarrie as they greeted fans who were waiting and ready with their phones in-hand.

Other stars of the film, including Angela Basserr, Hannah Waddingham, Simon Pegg, Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Esai Morales, Trameil Tillman and Grag Tarzan Davis are also expected to attend.
Tonight’s premiere at the Odeon London’s Leicester Square comes a day after the film was reportedly met with a 7.5-minute-long standing ovation following its Cannes Film Festival world premiere.
An interesting turn of events given that first reactions by critics have been mixed.
After the screening, it will be over to posh eatery Brasserie Zédal in Piccadilly Circus for the afterparty.
Listed in the Michelin Guide, it is located in a 1930s grand Frech art deco building and is famed for its classic brasserie dishes and choucroutes.
