Damon sported a full grey beard and tousled hair, making him almost unrecognizable as he walked the carpet Thursday night in New York City for the premiere of Shadow Force, starring his friend Kerry Washington.

The Jason Bourne star kept it cool and casual in a navy long-sleeve sweater, tailored black pants, and sleek black sneakers. Meanwhile, Luciana, 48, stunned in a cream satin corset top, matching high-waisted trousers, and brown leather mules.
The couple - who’ve been married since 2005 - looked completely smitten as they posed for photos outside AMC Lincoln Square.

When Entertainment Tonight asked Damon why he came out to support, he didn’t hesitate: “’Cause she’s the best.” Washington echoed the love, but quipped that his wife is the real reason he got an invite, “I just did a film where he's my boss—Animals, with Ben Affleck - and I honestly fell in love with his wife Lucy, so he’s her plus-one tonight,” she joked.

As for the beard? Damon’s been growing it out for his role in The Odyssey, where he plays Odysseus, the legendary Greek king known for his long and treacherous journey home after the Trojan War. The big-budget adaptation is currently filming, and set photos have shown Damon looking impressively bulked up for the physically demanding role.
While Damon tends to keep a low profile outside of work, this rare red carpet-moment reminded fans why he’s still one of Hollywood’s most beloved (and now bearded) stars.
