Met Gala 2025: Zendaya’s Stylist Law Roach Is Unrecognizable With Shocking Blonde Hair
Law Roach, who styled the likes of Zendaya and Cardi B for the 2025 Met Gala, debuted a striking look of his own at the annual fashion fundraiser in New York City May 5.

Law Roach is a blonde bombshell at the 2025 Met Gala.
In addition to crafting unforgettable looks for the likes of Zendaya, Cardi B, André 3000 and Angela Bassett at the annual costume ball, the stylist made a splash of his own on the red carpet by trading his signature long black locks for a short, sleek blonde coiffe.
“This is such a special night, and I wanted to change it up a bit,” he told Vogue in an interview published May 5. “I’ve been blonde before, but never like this.”
Law added, “My hair is telling a story for the night.”
The 46-year-old made sure to channel the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme with his ensemble, which included a black velvet suit and a low-cut white shirt with ruffled sleeves with ruffled cuffs. After all, the theme of the event was designed to honor the evolution of Black men’s fashion and dandyism, a.k.a. a devotion to self-expression through style.
“This Met Gala is personal,” he explained. “Not only for myself, but also for all the people like me.”
Law pointed out that the evening’s theme marked a “celebration” of the late style icon André Leon Talley, whom he cited as a particular source of inspiration.

“I actually own a lot of his clothes,” Law continued, “and it feels like this is a way to almost immortalize him.”
Prior to the big night, Law noted that he and Zendaya—who have collaborated for over a decade—would be switching up their usual routine for the event.
“We are going to be on the Met Gala steps,” he told E! News The Rundown’s Erin Lim Rhodes last month. “Yes, separately this year.”
But fans of the fashionable duo need not worry about their long-term partnership.
“We’re doing our own thing this year,” he said, “which is exciting.”

On May 6 local time, the major Texas music festival announced its star-studded lineup for 2025.
RIIZE will be the first K-pop group ever to perform at the main Austin City Limits Music Festival, which will be headlined by Sabrina Carpenter, Hozier, Doja Cat, The Strokes, Doechii, Luke Combs, and John Summit this year.
