Eamonn Holmes has given an update on his health from his hospital bed following a fall at his home. The GB News presenter was rushed to hospital after the incident on Friday, May 2.
The former This Morning star, 65, raised concerns among fans after posting a photo on social media from inside an ambulance. It showed him strapped to a gurney with a blanket over his legs, sporting a pair of black Croc-style shoes.
Eamonn has since updated fans alongside a photo from his hospital bed, reports the Manchester Evening News. He said: "Not how I wanted to be spending The Holiday weekend …… but life’s not easy these days . Thanks to everybody who is looking after me."
Fans quickly flooded Eamonn with messages of support. One said: "Take care lovely man xx." Another added: "Hope you’re ok my love."

Eamonn has previously been seen out in public with the aid of a wheelchair or on crutches due to chronic back pain, which was caused by a dislocated pelvis and he also has two slipped discs.
He later underwent surgery but suffered a setback when he fell down the stairs while recovering, which led to a broken shoulder. Eamonn then had a spine and neck procedure in 2023, but he still suffers from pain which has led him to having sleepless nights.
It has been reported Eamonn has been 'wheeled in and out of the studio' where he hosts the GB News Breakfast slot alongside Ellie Costello as he struggles with his mobility.
Earlier this year, Eamonn shared an update on his health – revealing he's still living in pain as he asked for prayers. He shared: "Even when the sun shines there's pain.
"Sometimes I feel I'll never beat this disc immobility but I'm determined to have a life ….. so pray for me, help me or get out of the way social media haters."
Despite their split, a source told OK! Magazine his ex-wife Ruth has expressed sadness over his health. "Ruth honestly doesn't talk about Eamonn, she's really moved on from that part of her life," they said.
"But of course, she does care about him, because they share a child and they were married for a long time." The source added despite feeling 'sad' her former partner is struggling, the presenter is also staying strong and focusing on herself.

"She has seen that he is struggling, and it's sad to see anyone in that situation. Of course, she fears for him and doesn't want to think of Eamonn battling with his health - but she has to focus on herself and her own life now."
