Kylie Jenner Shows Off Curves with Tight-Fitting Bodice at 2025 Met Gala

Kylie Jenner, who turned heads for her style choices during the award show season earlier this year, brought another fierce look to the Met Gala, which she has been a part of since 2016.

Kylie Jenner is turning heads with her 2025 Met Gala look!

The Kylie Cosmetics founder, 27, who garnered attention for her style choices during the award show season earlier this year, brought another fierce look to the major style event, which she has been a part of since 2016.

Jenner opted to wear a custom Ferragamo gown, which featured a sweetheart neckline that appeared to have been made out of a suit-like texture and a black corseted bodice underneath her cleavage. At her waist, the bodice ended and transformed back into a suit-like skirt that featured black and white stitchings. She also got to show off a bit of leg with a high slit up her left thigh.

The entrepreneur wore her hair slicked back into a bun and accessorized the outfit with sleek black closed-toe heels, sheer black gloves and silver jewelry, including silver studs and ear cuffs. She also donned a black silk scarf, which wrapped around her body and trailed behind her, which she eventually took off.

Jenner previously described her style in an interview with Elle in October 2024 as being "more dark feminine." She explained, "The first part of my twenties was having children, learning what my personal style was and then losing it—not knowing how to dress, gaining 60 pounds for both pregnancies. It took me a year to feel like myself again. At 27, I feel more confident and more like myself than ever."

In October 2024, Vogue shared details on the 2025 Met Gala, announcing that Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams and Anna Wintour would be co-chairs for the event, alongside LeBron James as honorary chair. The gala, which is held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on the first Monday in May, is a fundraiser for The Costume Institute and spotlights the museum's spring 2025 exhibition, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," the theme for the gala.

Curator in Charge Andrew Bolton said that the exhibit, which is inspired by guest curator Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity, explores “the Black dandy as both a concept and an identity signifier.”

The exhibit “presents a cultural and historical examination of Black style from the 18th century to the present through an exploration of the concept of dandyism,” according to a post on the museum’s Instagram.

The Met Gala's dress code for this year is “Tailored for You,” a nod to the exhibition’s focus on menswear and suiting. This year's event also has a star-studded host committee that includes Simone Biles and her husband, Jonathan Owens, Doechii, Regina King, Spike Lee, Usher and Angel Reese.

'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style': The 2025 Met Gala Theme and Dress Code Explained

The Kardashians star walked the red carpet at this year's event sans boyfriend Timothée Chalamet. However, the couple previously donned matching black looks to the 2025 BAFTA Awards. Jenner opted to wear black once again for the Oscars, while the Dune actor, 29, dazzled in a custom Givenchy butter yellow suit as he earned recognition as a Best Actor nominee for his role in A Complete Unknown.

Much like last year, the Kylie Cosmetics mogul attended the Met Gala alongside her sisters, Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian. At last year's Met Gala, which was themed “The Garden of Time" inspired by the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” exhibit, the youngest KarJenner sibling wore a form-fitting Oscar de la Renta cream gown with a dramatic train and cone-shaped accents at the bust. She accessorized with matching pumps and a flower-adorned sleek bun.

While that look took on a more classic style, the beauty founder has not hesitated to experiment with different aesthetics over the years. She once tried bridal glam with her 2022 Met Gala look and took on the role of a mysterious bombshell with her all-black Alexander Wang gown in 2018, only a few months after giving birth to Stormi in February of that year.

Ayo Edebiri, Jon Batiste and More Suit Up with Vogue to Celebrate Upcoming Met Gala and Exhibit

Her campy lilac Versace chainmail gown which she teamed with a matching purple wig — drawing comparisons from fans to Lil' Kim's iconic 1999 VMAs look — from 2019 also garnered major buzz. The mermaid-like purple wig and Swarovski crystal-embroidered Atelier Versace gown was even made into a miniature doll version for her pocket-size Bratz figurine collection.

She also hasn't been afraid to experiment with color, donning a bright red, skin-baring Haider Ackermann gown during the 2023 Met Gala, which even required very specific instructions from the designer restricting her mobility in the dress, including to avoid "sitting down" in it and not moving her arm with the "full-length sleeve."

"We decided on the red dress [for the Met.] I just think it's different than anything I've ever worn before," Jenner said in a behind-the-scenes Met Gala vlog. "I think the red really stands out. I just love how classy it is, and it's timeless."
